To set up your services, give us a call at 731-422-7500. Customer service is available from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. To apply in person, visit one of our locations: Customer Center Downtown at 351 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Drive (8 a.m. and 5 p.m Monday-Friday), or the Customer Center North at 2030 Pleasant Plains Extended (8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays). For emergencies, you can call us any time, day or night.

A $300 deposit may be waived if you have a favorable credit rating or a letter of credit from your previous utility. The letter from your previous utility provider must indicate a good pay history for the most recent 2 years of service. (The deposit is $50 if you're applying only for water/wastewater services.) The deposit - with interest - will be refunded in two years if you maintain a good credit history with Jackson Energy Authority.

A $35 charge to turn on services can be added to your first bill.

Are You Moving?

If you are moving away or transferring utility services to another location within our system, call 422-7500 and give us the details of your move. Please give us as much advance notice as possible. A $35 charge to transfer services will be added to your bill.
