Our automatic payment plan – bank draft – is a convenient way to pay your utility bill. This payment option is available to any customer with a checking account. To sign up for the automatic payment plan, complete the form below and click the submit button, or contact us at 422-7500.

How does it work?

The plan starts with your next month's billing. The draft will be deposited one day before the due date of your bill.

This form authorizes Jackson Energy Authority to process a draft for the net amount of your utility bill each month. This amount will be deducted from your checking account and Jackson Energy Authority will send you a utility bill marked "paid."

As you send this form, you are agreeing that:

  • It will not be necessary for anyone to sign this draft and that your rights in respect to each draft shall be the same as a personal check if issued and signed by you personally. You further agree that Jackson Energy Authority will be under no obligation to furnish you with any special notice in writing of the presentation of this draft for payment.
  • This authorization will remain in effect until you revoke it in writing or until Jackson Energy Authority deems it necessary to remove your name from the “automatic payment plan.”
  • A copy of this authorization will be sent to your bank for verification of information.
