Project Engineer –Water/Wastewater System
Performs engineering work required for plant additions and revisions. Conducts economic and system planning studies. Supervises, trains, and directs assigned employees in the design, planning, and development of transmissions, distribution, and associated water/wastewater facilities.
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. Must have a degree from an engineering curriculum which is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as approved by the Tennessee State Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners. Passage of the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering ExaminationExperience in Water/Wastewater distribution/collection systems and operations preferred. This position also requires excellent organizational and communication skills. Candidates must be proficient with Auto CAD release 13 or higher, and proficient with the use of Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of ESRI GIS software preferred.
Telecom Installation Technician
Completes field service requests related to Telecom installations, disconnects and service changes for residential and business cable, Internet and telephone customers.
Must have a high school diploma or GED. One year experience in telecommunications field services or related activities preferred.
Excellent customer relations and verbal communication skills required along with the ability to think logically in solving problems.
Develops, analyzes and modifies new and existing computer software program components. Performs coding, testing and debugging activities to check for faults and errors. Maintains and updates integrated software applications. Assures proper integration with other computer systems; coordinates work necessary to meet user requirements.
B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related area or Associates Degree in Computer Science or related area and 1 year experience in computer programming.
Excellent customer relations skills; ability to write reports and/or graphics and routine business correspondence; ability to think logically in solving problems. Language skills in: VB.Net,C#.Net, C+, HTML and SQL.
