Check Your Attic for Hidden Leaks and Other Problems

Check your ductwork - the system that transports your heated or cooled air through your home for air leaks. Ductwork is found in your attic or under your house.

• Make sure your ductwork is covered with at least two inches of insulation with a vapor barrier.
• Make sure your attic has proper ventilation.
• Cover the attic access door with at least six inches of batt insulation
