Welcome to our Interactive Customer Service area! You now can use the Internet to get Jackson Energy Authority utility services. Simply fill out the form below to tell us whether you need your utilities turned on, turned off or transferred.

In most instances, Jackson Energy Authority can turn on utilities the same day you request them. If you are just moving to Jackson and haven't had service with us before, we may require a deposit. After a credit check, we will waive the $300 deposit if you have a favorable credit rating or a letter of credit for 2 years service. (If you are applying only for water/wastewater services, the deposit is $50). If we need a deposit, we'll contact you about what you'll need to do to get services.

If you are transferring services from one address in our service area to another, we require only that your account be current and in good standing to avoid additional deposit. A $20 service charge will be applied to your new account for the transfer fee.

If you are requesting that utilities be turned off and will not need utility service in our service area, we require only a date of termination and a forwarding address.
