Use this form to start, stop or transfer your utilities online. Customer Service will contact you to confirm your change in services.

To set up your services, give us a call at 731-422-7500. Customer service is available from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. To apply in person, visit one of our locations: 119 E. College St. (8 a.m. and 5 p.m Monday-Friday), or the Customer Center at 2030 Pleasant Plains Extended (8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays). For emergencies, you can call us any time, day or night.

A $300 deposit may be waived if you have a favorable credit rating or a letter of credit from your previous utility. (The deposit is $50 if you're applying only for water/wastewater services.) The deposit - with interest - will be refunded in two years if you maintain a good credit history with Jackson Energy Authority.

A $20 charge to turn on services can be added to your first bill.

Are You Moving?

If you are moving away or transferring utility services to another location within our system, call 422-7500 and give us the details of your move. Please give us as much advance notice as possible. A $20 charge to transfer services will be added to your bill.
