Inside City Limits
Customer Charge: $2.64 per month

Wastewater Charge, per month:
First 500,000 gallons: $0.330 per 100 gallons
Next 500,000 gallons: $0.297 per 100 gallons
Excess over 1,000,000 gallons: $0.197 per 100 gallons

Outside City Limits
Customer Charge: $3.30 per month

Wastewater Charge, per month*:
First 500,000 gallons: $0.413 per 100 gallons
Next 500,000 gallons: $0.371 per 100 gallons
Excess over 1,000,000 gallons: $0.247 per 100 gallons

*Medina residents also pay a monthly surcharge that will decrease as the number of Medina water and wastewater customers grows. This surcharge helps to offset the extra cost of improvements and maintenance to the Medina water and wastewater systems and the extra cost of assuming the Medina systems' debts when it became a part of Jackson Energy Authority.
