Fire Sprinkler Connection Fee

The Jackson Energy Authority charges a connection fee for buildings with separate fire protection sprinkler systems. The cost is based on the size of the service line:

2- to 4-inch line: $917.
6-inch line: $1,978.
8-inch line: $3,366.
10-inch line: $5,024.
12-inch line: $6,895.
16-inch line: $11,656.

Water Installation Fees

The size of your meter and service line to our main is based on the number of gallons of water you need per minute.

Water main development fee: $14.50 a foot to the property (if required) and $14.50 a foot across the front of the property.

Service connection fee from our main to the property line for a typical commercial water service:

Jackson Energy Authority can connect services after a JEA application and City plumbing permit are matched.
