Natural Gas Rates -- Commercial and Industrial

The following adjustments shall apply to natural gas rate schedules dated March 1, 2008.

These General Service schedules are available for gas service to any commercial or industrial establishment, including boarding houses, apartment houses, hospitals, schools, charitable institutions, and other uses not classified as residential.

General Service G-1: For general customers within the Jackson City limits. Customer charge is $8.00 per meter. Monthly rates are given per Ccf or 100 cubic feet.

General Service GO-1: For general customers outside the Jackson City limits. Customer charge is $8.50 per meter. Monthly rates are given per Ccf or 100 cubit feet.

Off-Peak OP-1: For industrial customers contracting for 250 Ccf or more of maximum daily demand. Rates are based per Ccf or 100 cubit feet.

This Off Peak schedule is available for gas service to any industrial customer contracting for not less than 250 Ccf of Maximum Daily Demand; provided alternate fuel facilities of adequate design and capacity may be required by the Authority.

Gas sold under this schedule shall be termed "Interruptible" gas and shall be interrupted whenever, in the opinion of the Authority, the interruption is necessary in order to prevent an increase in the Authority's previously established "Maximum Day's Use". Customers receiving gas under this schedule shall at no time take gas during any "Period of Curtailment".

If, for any reason customer taking gas under this schedule continues to take gas during any "Period of Curtailment", there shall become due and payable to the Authority's, not as a penalty, but as liquidated damages, an amount equal to $4.75 per Ccf for all gas taken. This amount is to be in addition to regular amounts billed in accordance with this rate schedule.

Customer shall agree that when such curtailment is deemed necessary, gas service may be curtailed upon one hour's notice by the Authority to customers. Customers on receipt of this notice shall cease use of gas until notified by JEA that such use may be resumed.

Natural Gas -- Transportation Rates

Interruptible Transport T-1: Customer charge: $200.00 per meter. Rates are based per Ccf or 100 cubit feet.

This Interruptible Transport T-1 schedule is available for gas transportation service to any customer contracting for transportation of not less than 1,000 Ccf per day; provided alternate fuel facilities of adequate design and capacity may be required by the Authority.

Gas transported under this schedule shall be termed "interruptible" gas and shall be interrupted whenever, in the opinion of the Authority, the interruption is necessary in order to protect the supply of natural gas to JEA's sales customers or to prevent an increase in the Authority's previously established "Maximum Day's Use'. Customers receiving gas under this schedule shall at no time take gas during any "Period of Curtailment".

Firm Transport T-2: Rates are based per Ccf.

This Firm Transport T-2 schedule is available for gas transportation service to any customer contracting for transportation of not less than 1,000 Ccf per day. Gas transported under this schedule is for the exclusive use of the customer and shall not be resold or shared with others.

Gas Installation Fees
