Electric Incentive Rates
Variable Price Interruptible (VPI): For customers with demands more than 5,000 kW. Power subject to inturruption on 5 minute or 60 minute notice depending on option. Customer can contract up to 100% of total demand.
Demand charge: $1.21/kW
Energy charge: Varies by the hour
Flat Price Interruptible (FPI): For customers with demand more than 1,00 kW. Power subject to interruption on 5 minute notice. Customer can contract up to 100% of total demand. Demand charge credit of $3.40/kW.

Limited Interruptible Power (LIP): For customers with demands of more than 20,000 kilowatts. Customers can buy up to one half of their power requirements at the LIP rate. There is a minimum of 24-hours notice and maximum of 15 days per curtailment.
Demand Charge: $2.90 per kW
Energy Charge: $0.02004 per kWh

Limited Firm Power (LFP): Like LIP, this program is for customers with demands of more than 20,000 kW. The curtailment provisions also call for a minimum of 24-hours notice and a maximum of 15 days of curtailment. Customers, however, can buy up to 2/3 of their power requirements at the LFP rate.
Demand Charge: $4.25 per kW
Energy Charge: $0.02004 per kWh

Electric Incentive Programs
Test and Restart Power (TRP): This program is for new and/or experimental processes for existing industries and for restarting plants or processes that have been idle for more than one year.
Minimum demand: 5,000 kW.
Power curtailed only during emergencies.
Available for up to 6 months.

Charges include monthly administrative charge of $325, and energy priced at incremental cost of production, plus 25 percent. The energy charge is only on TRP; there is no demand charge.

The amount of demand taken above firm contract is considered TRP. Time-differentiated metering is required.

Enhanced Growth Credit: This program gives a credit of $6 per kW for four years to those who qualify in one of the following three ways:

New or expanding customers in the standard industrial classification groups of 20 to 39 for manufacturing and codes 40, 42, 44 and 45 for bulk transportation.

New or expanding commercial or industrial customers that are all electric on heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), have 50 percent of floor space heated and cooled, and have 50 percent or more of the rated electric load represented by HVAC, interior lighting and/or cooking.

Expanding customers who are adding at least 250 kW of electric load for all electric HVAC, water heating and/or cooking.

The minimum load requirement for SIC qualifiers is 100 kW; the minimum for the other qualifiers is 250 kW.
