JEA's EPlus Broadband Passes 10,000th Customer Mark

EPlus Broadband, Jackson Energy Authority’s advanced network of cable, Internet and cable services has recently passed the 10,000th customer mark for individuals signed onto their system. This mark is eighteen months ahead of schedule.
“EPlus Broadband is now in every Jackson neighborhood and we are progressing the build out into Madison County,” said Kim Kersey, Senior Vice President of Telecommunications at JEA. This milestone affirms your support of our efforts to deliver the services you want, he added.
EPlus Broadband has provided many FIRSTS for customers such as services on one bill, high definition programming, and first digital video recording converters.
EPlus TV6 offers LIVE and local programming never before offered in Jackson from college basketball games to debates on topics of interest in the community.
EPlus Internet speeds compared to other options in Jackson, is the difference between driving or walking to your destination.
EPlus Fiber-to-the-Home Network has drawn national and international attention with visitors from six continents to look at the success of EPlus. This system is also recognized as the best Fiber-To-The-Home Public Utility Network in the nation by Broadband Properties Magazine and FOCUS (Fiber Optic Communities of the U.S.).
