PLANT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I
Position Summary: Performs routine lubrication, cleaning and maintenance on water and wastewater treatment plants and related equipment/facilities. Assists Plant Maintenance Technician II’s with water and wastewater system tasks. Some out-of-town work is expected. Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Certifications/Licenses: JEA Apprenticeship Program (optional). A four-year program allowing Plant Maintenance Technician I to advance to Plant Maintenance Technician II. Criteria must be met as outlined in the Apprentice Program.
