JEA Water Exceeds Government Requirements

Jackson Energy Authority’s [JEA] April bill inserts features their yearly Water Confidence Report.

Each year the state and federal governments require utilities to report to customers on the quality of drinking water. Once again, JEA customers are able to count on safe, quality drinking water thru the JEA water system.

JEA water is tested daily in their laboratory. With the Water Confidence Report, they conducted more than 35,000 tests for more than 100 contaminants that could be found in water.

“Our goal is to protect our water from contaminants and we are proud that our water exceeds all government requirements,” said Liba Ford, JEA Environmental Coordinator.
